New to Tableau? Interested in learning more about the University's data? Want to get to know us? Come to the Open Labs!

Held on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month in room 108 of the Don and Cathy Jacobs Science Building beginning at 9:00 AM, Open Labs are our way of keeping you updated on the latest changes, best practices, and news surrounding data and data visualization.

9:00 - 9:30 AM — Getting Started

The first half-hour of our Open Labs is geared toward providing customers with an overview of analytics at the University of Kentucky, what data is available, and how to access that data. We'll also briefly walk through the Tableau Server interface. This is an introductory training for anyone new to accessing data at the University or through Tableau Server, and will be offered at the beginning of every Open Lab.

9:30 - 11:00 AM — Updates & Presentations

The second part of Open Lab is used to provide updates on any changes to our data models, processes, or reports. This is also a time for more in-depth discussion, presentations, and feedback. We invite our campus customers and partners to let us know if they're interested in sharing what they've done with Tableau, projects they're working on, or specific topics are of interest. Content will be different each Open Lab.
